CompBioGrid Applications

The Virtual Cell (VCell) is the first cell biology modeling software platform that will be enabled to use OSG resources. The project is in pre-alpha stage. We have created a standalone version for one of the VCell back-end solvers for which we can manually generate a statically-linked Linux binary and input mesh file that encode any particular VCell user-defined simulation specification. This can be then directly submitted for execution on OSG compute hosts by an authenticated party.
